MeMe Camp Day #3

Day number three! We started out the day with breakfast, and journal time again. Callie drew pictures of her fun time at the water park the day before. It was fun to watch each kid and their abilities record their memories in the notebooks--the bigger kids with mostly writing, with Jack drawing who
knows what in his! After breakfast the kids did a couple of craft projects, one of which was painting wooden letters for their names. After craft time the kids had play time outside. Callie loved to catch the tiny frogs that lived around the water hose! Zeke and Jack have a constant game of tag/wrestling that usually turns into an argument. Kaelyn disappears, to be found playing in an upstairs room with Kendall's old toys. Ryan and Regan are great at playing with the younger kiddos, and Kendall gets a rest in when she can, since she and Ryan have been staying up so late getting stuff ready for the kids' projects.
In the afternoon we went to Up-N-Jacks, an indoor jump playground the kids always enjoy. Even Macie enjoyed her little section with Kaelyn. MaeMae surprised us by walking on a balance beam of sorts, then proceeded to take a big fall on flat ground! After we recovered from the bounce gym, we went to see Krista's garden and Ashton's chickens..very impressive! I do think, however, that the chickens had a hard night of recovery after being chased by 4 small children! Poor things. We all turned in fairly early this evening...needless to say, we are all exhausted! (probably adults more than kiddos!) It has been super fun, though...thanks, MeMe!
