Keepin' Cousins

Jenny went to an out-of-state conference the first week of August, so we got to keep the kiddos for a few days...a "mini cousins' camp", if you will. It was basically me vs. 5 kids...wow! It wasn't always easy, but it was fun, and they always have such a good time together. We spent time indoors with play dough, dress-up, and more. We also spent time EXPENDING ENERGY at local parks! I love the picture of Callie and Zeke back to back...Callie had been sort of catching up to him until recently, now he is shooting up and I have a feeling she'll never get close again! She just holds it over him that she is older, but, that likely won't get her too far...I love these kiddos!

Cousins Day

In July, the Hanna, Bosse, Wims, Robertson kiddos had a get-together at our house for a fun day trip to Splashtown. It's always fun, and an adventure, to get everyone together! Unfortunately for Callie (and Mommy!), she did not get to participate as Jack had accidentally poked her in the eye, actually scratching her cornea, causing the day to be spent in the Pediatrician's office, then the Opthomologist's office...poor thing! She was really in a lot of pain and sooooo disappointed about not getting to partake in the fun. So, we'll just have to do it again, gang!

Discovery Green

We recently enjoyed a visit with Alli and Scott, and went to Discovery Green park downtown. There are some playground things, but the best is the wide open areas of wonderful, take-your-shoes-off grass. The kids had a blast just running, rolling, laughing. What a joy!

Yogurt Pops

I recently made frozen yogurt popsicles...the kids loved them, especially Macie!

More 4th of July

Even though the kids were sick for 4th of July, we did get some sparklers in later that week, much to their delight. Poor Macie didn't get in on the fun, as we did it after her bedtime.
