Well, the first day is over. It started out grand for Callie, too! She actually popped out of bed, which is not usual for her. Daddy got her pink donuts (strawberry-iced) as is the usual tradition on a special day.
As you can see from the pictures, she was very excited about school! Her teacher, Ms. Fischhaber, was waiting for her. Callie did this day like she does everything else--no looking back, jumping right in. I barely got my hug in before we left! And yes, Mommy did ok, too, though I really do think I will be sad for quite a while!

She looks much too old. Surely you took pictures of the wrong little girl...? I hate how fast they grow up. She's beautiful, and I'm very glad that her day went so well! Hope they all continue to be perfect.
She looks oh so cute in her little uniform. I am glad she had a great day. I can't believe the kids are all going getting so big and going to school. They should all still babies and we should still be babes. LOL I don't know where that came from. I just couldn't resist. See ya'll in a couple of weeks.
