This is Callie's Ecosystem--The Tropical Rainforest--that she did for a Science project.  All the ecosystems were displayed at Science Night.  I thought she did a great job!

Callie has done so well in softball this spring...Coach Strack is awesome, and we have enjoyed getting to know the girls on her team.  I love that she loves to play!  Even Mae gets into it...

Fairy-Tale Princess Party

 

 

Per Her Highness' request, Macie had a Princess theme for her 3 year old birthday party.  I don't normally think of us as indulging parents, but this day, one precious girl got just about everything her heart could desire for the best Princess party ever!  Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was pink and purple.  Pink and purple cupcakes, pink and purple tablecloths, utensils, cookies, and pink punch.  The cake was one of those doll cakes that Gran Gran is so good at making.  We had Princess games, and even a real Princess showed up to read them a story!  Princess Senora, as she called herself, but sure looked just like that famous Princess Aurora!  So many pretty princesses, and a few handsome princes, too. (Even Clay Selby dressed up--see pic below) I never pictured myself putting on such a girly event, but it was very fun and I think Macie loved every minute of it.  Happy Birthday, precious Mae Mae!
