Pumpkin Outfit

Fall at the Beach

On the first weekend in October, we went with our good friends the Selby's to the beach in Galveston..only in Texas! I will admit that the weather was just cool enough to keep me out of the water, but was otherwise a beautiful day. The kids had such a fun time. There are several large dunes and even Macie loved jumping off down the sides.

Astros Cutie

Macie loves to pose! Thought her Daddy would love this dress!

Cute Dress on a Cutie

I love this dress from Mrs. Merla...it has smocking of

the Wizard of Oz characters around the neck...just had to capture it! Thank you, Mrs. Merla!

Fall Ball

We decided to let Callie play fall softball this year--new thing for us as previously she has only played in the spring. The fall season is very laid back, viewed as an "instructional" season, not really competitive, which has been really good for her. She has really improved, and it's been fun to watch her. One of her classmates is on the team, and she is really enjoying that. Her coach is very good, and seems to really care about the girls. Bryan is Assistant Coach, and of course enjoys being involved.

Kindergarten Social

Somehow I got roped into being the PTO Rep for Kindergarten this year...kidding--I willingly volunteered! It's been fun so far. We had a "social" at Chucke Cheese at the beginning of the school year...the kids had fun, anyway! I love watching Jack with his friends--they are ALL his friends, and he flits from one to the next like the perfect social butterfly, and they all seem to like him! He is adjusting to every-day school life pretty well.

3rd Grade Social

Callie's grade had a social at the beginning of the year...I love that the entire grade is comprised of only 35 kids! It's cute to watch her build relationships, and fun to get know the other parents, too. It's also amusing to me that Jack seems to know her classmates more than she does! He is truly a social animal.
