Many of you know that I have been homeschooling Callie this year...it's been very interesting! Fun, tiring, difficult...definately a learning experience for both of us! We recently completed a science portion about how plants grow and the parts of a flower. Callie grew a Forget-Me-Not flower in a small pot, and put together a project which she presented at the Baytown Homeschool Science Fair...which involved about 40 kids! I was very proud of her for speaking about her project to everyone.Tuesday, March 9, 2010
How Does A Flower Grow?
Many of you know that I have been homeschooling Callie this year...it's been very interesting! Fun, tiring, difficult...definately a learning experience for both of us! We recently completed a science portion about how plants grow and the parts of a flower. Callie grew a Forget-Me-Not flower in a small pot, and put together a project which she presented at the Baytown Homeschool Science Fair...which involved about 40 kids! I was very proud of her for speaking about her project to everyone.Yummy Yogurt
I don't know if it's a "third child thing" or what, but I"ve done quite a few things with Macie I don't think I would have with the older two! She was fussing about sitting in her highchair while I did some cooking, so I just put a large spoonful of yogurt on her highchair tray and let her go to town...what a mess! At this stage, the mess is worth the entertainment!Sweet Macie
Macie is growing up so fast! It's hard to believe that she is not that tiny newborn anymore. I love putting bows on her sweet little head--for some reason, I love the back of her head! It just makes me want to kiss it! She is finally getting a tiny bit of hair, fuzzy down-type stuff really, but we still do lots of headbands, bows and cute hats!

Aggies For Christ Come to Baytown

The Aggies for Christ came to Baytown in January, led by Lans Martin. Lans and his sister Megan are well known to us from New Braunfels. They were amazing kids, and have grown into incredible young adults, and such wonderful leaders for the Lord. The kids really enjoyed having the Aggies around! Three girls stayed with us, including Megan, Lans' girlfriend (now fiance'!)Melissa, and Clare. Our neighbors kept Lans and his roommate. The Aggies did the usual skit show, which was great, but aged us 'ole Ags as we sat on this side of the show! Macie received, er, gave her first kiss to someone other than Mommy or Daddy... a quite handsome little dude, Caleb Cox! Scott and Alli were in for the fun, too. Wonderful weekend!
