Allison's Bridesmaid Brunch

Allison's sweet aunts, Sandra and Linda, and her "Honorary Aunt", Merla, put together a perfect time of celebration the morning of Scott and Alli's wedding. It was great food, great company, and relaxation before the "big moment". I got to take my girls--and of course had them dressed in matching outfits!! Thank you for including us Meme, Nonnie, and Merla!

Alli's Lingerie Shower

Don't worry--you don't have to cover your eyes for this one! I wouldn't put those pics on the blog! Alli's lingerie shower was after the rehearsal dinner, and was very fun. The decorations were fun, with various "apparel" hung around the room, pretty linens on the tables, and adorable mini-cakes with their initials on them and yummy chocolate-dipped foods--and lots of Alli's friends gathered together. A funny moment was a surprise gift to Allison from Bryan--a "one size fits all" moo-moo (is that how you spell it?!) gown with notes stuck on it saying, "No Touchy", and "Cootie Zone", and "Stay Away", and finally, "Love, Your Brother"--lots of laughs with that one!

Scott and Alli's Rehearsal

I guess I just forgot to take pictures at Alli's Rehearsal because I just got these few random ones...

Chris is Married!

Well, a couple of weeks ago we joined in the celebration of a very special day--Chris Kneip married the sweet, beautiful Candy! The wedding was in Jackson, MS, and Bryan, Macie, and I set out on Thursday evening as Bryan, being a groomsman, was supposed to play golf Friday with Chris and the guys. Going through Baton Rouge, there was some heavy stop and go traffic, and while we came to a stop, the girl behind us didnt--hit us pretty hard! We hit the car in front of us, of course. We were all ok, but my BRAND NEW VAN wasn't! Busted radiator, back-end damage. After a very frustrating and honestly scary evening with a wrecker driver that abandoned us in gangland of Baton Rouge, we finally got in our rental car and drove on to Jackson. The rest of the weekend was perfect, really. Being with our friends, watching another friend on the happiest day of his life--what a blessing! We always leave that group of friends feeling so thankful that God has brought us together--and sad that we don't see each other more often! I have also come to realize that my third child is near-perfect as well--not that my older two aren't really great, but Macie is a charm. During the whole wreck thing, the long hours in the car, the altered schedule--she hardly made a peep. Congratulations, Chris and Candy--we love you!

Incredible Pizza

We went with Jen and the kids to a place called Incredible Pizza. It has all sorts of games and ride toys, and even bowling for kids, plus a pizza buffet. The kids really enjoy it! You win tickets at each game, so of course that was motivating. Some of the machines had been hung up from the previous person, and when the maintenance guy would come "fix"it, it would start spitting out all these tickets that had been held in for a while--boy did the kids think that was exciting!
