Fashion Birthday Party

Callie was recently invited to a birthday party for a little girl in her class, and the theme was Fashion Runway. The girls each came dressed in their own stylish do, got some make-up applied, then walked a "runway", while someone read about each girls' hobbies, etc...very cute and Callie had a super time! I love her "style"...Punky Brewster-ish...funky, and cute!

Who Ya Callin'?

I love watching Mae do new things, and lately she has been walking around with a purse and a "hello" (phone), calling all the people she loves (most often it's Papa). So cute! She'll just sit there and have a conversation...she's growing fast. :(

Love is in the Air...

Well, I did my first major school mom goof-up this year, on Valentine's Day. Macie's party had been the week before, then I had Jack and Cal's on the same day. I made it to Jack's, it was cute, took pictures, blah, blah. Then went to Callie's---and it was over. I had missed the time by an hour! Poor thing. She was pretty disappointed, but, didn't make it too hard on me! Luckily, I had sent her a balloon, flowers, and stuffed animal (Senior fundraiser) earlier in the day, so she forgave me!

Baby Leo

Baby Leo came for a short visit (wish his Mommy), and the kids got to give him some lovin'. I thought Macie's faces were hilarious..she was hamming it up! She likes to hold him, asking, "I hold it?"

Dress-up Time

A few weeks ago during some of the cold weather days, the kids and I decided to have a fashion show. Callie used to be SOOO into dressing up, and actually wore a ballerina tut everyday. It makes me sad that she is starting to put that behind her, but, Jack still enjoys it, and Macie is starting to have fun with it, too. Jack was involved in this "session", but for some reason, I didn't get any pics of him.

Upside Down

I just thought this picture was funny...if you can see, Macie is copying Cal and Jack, just upside down. I tried and tried to get

her to do it the same, but she just insisted "Macie do it yike dis"..so there you have it!

In the Trees

Jack is just now figuring out that the trees we have in the backyard are fun to climb in...I really can't believe it took him this long! I suppose next he'll try to see if he can jump from the tree to the roof...oh wait, that will probably be Macie. It's all cute and stuff to see these pics of her copying her brother, but, it's no joke--she is crazy! She'll climb anything and do anything! Fearless, and, sometimes I really think she doesn't have any kind of pain sensor.

Santa's Wonderland with the Selby's

We enjoyed a visit to Santa's Wonderland outside of College Station just after Christmas. We went with our great friends the Selby's--Clay was Bryan's college roommate, and they live very close to us now and we have really enjoyed spending time with them. Our kids love their kids, and it's just a great time! This Wonderland had tons of Christmas lights, Santa, of course, "snow", band performances, and even a mechanical bull...Fun Times!
