first tooth last week! It's been loose--REALLY LOOSE--for quite some time, and it finally was able to be tweaked and out! She was soooo excited--it was really cute, though I was a bit sad. She is sort of talking with a lisp now, which is funny.
The ice cream truck came singing down the road today, and we rushed out to get our ice cream treats--so fun! Well, in the 110 heat index weather, the good stuff quickly melted! Jack's was blue, and you can see where all it went as it melted. At some point, it fell off his stick, where you can see it in the grass and his poor little dejected face--but not for long! He found a way to finish it off anyway! Callie did a much better "clean" job!

Our church does something for new babies called "baby blessing". Basically the family comes to the front of the church, and the elders surround them and the new baby, and say a prayer for them--it's a neat thing, and Macie "received" her blessing last Sunday, and both sets of grandparents got to be there, too.
The firm that Bryan will go to work for has a company/family event every summer (the one that had the softball tournament at Minute Maid Park last year), and this year was at some local softball fields. They had some fun things set up for kiddos, like the dunking booth, water slide, and face painting. The kids had fun, but it WAS SO HOT!! The heat here has been really bad recently--heat index of 108 degrees, with the Houston Humidity--yuck! Oh, well, the kids had fun!
