Crazy Callie

Just thought this was a cute picture. She got skates from Grammy for Christmas, and so far, we only use them on carpet! She is getting the hang of them, though--maybe we'll venture outside soon!

Callie's First Science Project

Callie's school had a science fair, and the kids in Kindergarten simply had the goal of showing a collection of something--Callie chose socks! She LOVES wearing socks, all the time, with every shoe--even those that shouldn't have socks! She picked her 10 favorite pairs, and we took pictures of each pair on her feet, then she wrote labels of what kind of socks they were. I thought it turned out pretty cute. Unfortunately, Callie got the flu just before the big day, so she didn't get to attend the fair with her classmates :).

Macie's Shower

Our church life group graciously gave me and Macie a shower. It was lovely, and Miss Macie got so many cute things! Callie went with me, and she was a super helper, and was so cute being truly interested in each and every gift. Of course, she was the gift picker, so all the bigger bags went first!

Cousins

I took this picture this weekend while some of the family was in to celebrate Kaelyn's upcoming 2 year old birthday, as well as my father-in-law's birthday, and Uncle Gene's birthday--whew!! The kids had a blast, as usual, playing together the whole time, completely worn out at the end o the day.

Callie vs. Punky Brewster

Callie has recently decided she likes to wear her hair in a side ponytail--I remember doing that myself! She looks really cute with it, and, knows it, as you can tell from the photo!

Irwin Visit

Our good friends from New Braunfels, RC and Susan Irwin, recently paid us a visit. We call them the kids' "honorary grandparents"--they are so sweet to us and our children, and we miss them a lot! RC and Bryan tried out the Wii while waiting on us girls to get ready for church.

Backyard Baseball

We recently signed Callie up for softball, so Daddy has been practicing with her often. She is actually really good at hitting the ball--but needs some real help with the fielding skills!! Jack always wants to participate, too; and he's not bad!

Children's Museum

Jack and I recently enjoyed a trip to the Children's Museum in Houston. It is pretty big, and lots of neat things to do, including painting your own face! Jack did a Tiger--did a pretty good job, huh?! He went with me to my doctor's appointment after our outing, where he truly thought Dr. Gei was going to "take Macie out" that day!! He was pretty disappointed when I told him she definitely has to stay for a while longer.
