We wrapped up our vacation with some time spent with dear friends: Josh and Sheridan Leftwich, David Anderson, Stephen Grove, and Chris Kneip, Chris' girlfriend Candy, and Kathryn Jaks. The kids all had a blast together, as usual. Callie loved riding the tube behind the jetski, and Jack loved the jetski--as long as it was still and anchored! The deer came up and ate out of the kid's hands--that was neat. Uncle Chris doesn't get down here too often, so we enjoyed visiting with him.

Jack's favorite song is "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", and I finally captured him singing it. Be sure and turn up your sound because he gets a little quieter towards the end.

More Cousin Fun

We are still having such a fun time with our cousins in Kerrville. Yesterday, we went to the river and went kayaking and swimming--we had a blast! Zeke and Kaelyn are here too while Mommy and Daddy are in Germany. It's really cute to watch all the little ones play together.

Sleeping Sportsman

Jack loves this Astros hat that used to be Zeke's. He even sleeps in it most nights! I just thought that was too cute.

Vacation with Cousins

While Bryan is in Germany, the kiddos and I are spending time around Texas, but the for the first several days we are in Kerrville with all the cousins. The kids are having a blast (and me, too!). Zeke and Kaelyn showed up today, so there will be more pics of them to follow. It's especially cute to watch Jack, because he thinks he is just as big as "the big boys"!

Cowgirl Callie

Callie received money towards horseback riding lessons for her birthday--and she had her first lesson last week. She loved it!! She did really well, too. Her horse's name was Poco.

Dream Come True

Today was quite possibly the biggest day of Bryan's life! The law firm he is interning with right now has a softball game every summer at Minute Maid Park, where the Astros play--talk about a dream come true for my sports freak husband!! He had the time of his life, made several great plays, and pitched most of the first game for his team. To boot, the announcer for the Astros, Milo Hamilton, announced the games today, and commented on Bryan's performance several times. Bryan ended up with the MVP ball signed by Milo himself. Brad and Jenny were able to join us as well, and the kids had a blast, too. It was really neat to see Bryan having such an awesome day--what an experience!

New Backyard Fun

The kids are the proud owners of a new play gym, many thanks to Grammy and Papa. We've all talked about getting one for a while, and now it's here! Papa spent many hours on the assembly. Papa and Grammy also cleverly figured out to have the slide end in the small "baby" pool we have--the kids love that! The slide is very steep, and it shoots the kids right out into the pool--Jack is so light he almost missed the pool from shooting straight across to the other side!
