Ballerina girl

Somehow I got Callie to pose for a couple of pictures before her ballet class today (they actually do ballet, tap, and jazz).
She really enjoys it, and pays close attention to her teacher for the whole hour and 15 minute class! She is still my silly girl, though: Bryan went up to tuck the kids into bed, and Callie was being a little too silly for bedtime, so Bryan told her she needed to settle down. She rolled over, looked up at Bryan, and said, "Ay, ay, Captain Poo-Poo!" Bryan just had to make a quick exit before bursting into laughter!

Family Time

My brother joined the Marines last year, and we are all very proud of him. He is about to head off to Japan for 2 years, so he came for a visit since it may be a while before we see him. The kids love "Uncle Lonnie", and Jack is now practicing his salute!

Old Ag Weekend

An Aggie weekend for Brad and Jenny has been in the works for a while, and it was this past weekend, and it was so AWESOME! So many Aggies turned out, and it was so neat to see everyone again. I tried not to ever take those relationships for granted, but seeing everyone again just makes me realize how blessed I really was to be a part of the Aggies for Christ. It was almost like we haven't even been apart (except for all the little mini-me's running around!). See if you can guess who the blond hair-blue eyed child belongs to....He's a Schneider! I just thought he was adorable. Callie and Zeke (Brad and Jenny's son) had stuffed things under their shirts, then thought it was funny to try and hug with their "big tummies"! There was lots of wonderful prayer time, singing, and was so uplifting--most importantly, we gathered to pray for Brad, for his healing, for the miracle from God that we seek. Chris Fikes prayed the prayer I pray every day--begging God for a "yes" answer, no matter what His original plan might have been before. It was powerful.

T-Ball Star

Well, Callie has started T-Ball, and it's pretty darn funny! She is the only girl on her team, and pretty much the youngest, smallest, and least experienced! She really likes it, though. She is quite the little star, as she comes out to bat and just stands facing the bleachers, grinning, until she hears her mommy yelling for her to turn around and hit the ball! Jack thinks it's really cool, and at home he plays "pretend t-ball", as he calls it!

I just had to post this picture! Jack is very into vehicles, tractors included, and, he loves his boots that he got from Grammy and Papa for Christmas. He frequently puts his boots on just for fun, but really thinks it's fun to wear them without pants!

Hide and Seek

Aren't they cute playing "hide and seek" around the tree!

Fun in the Park

The kids had fun at a park after their bluebonnet pictures--one of their favorite places to go. I can hardly keep shoes on either one of them, and Callie soon figured out how to "bury" her feet and hands, "like the beach".

Bluebonnets

There is a place in Friendswood where the Bluebonnets are beautiful--and luckily, Jack didn't pick them all while we were there! I showed him these pictures earlier today, and he emphatically stated, "no peek (pick) dose (those) fowers, mommy"!
